The Houston Museum of Natural Science is located at 5555 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, TX 77030. This large, sprawling museum is chock-full of interesting exhibits. There’s something for everyone in this museum, including a butterfly garden, an Egyptology exhibit, and historical displays. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or taking a family trip, there’s something to keep everyone busy. The Houston Museum of Natural Science has something for everyone. Whether you’re interested in Texas history or a curious mind, you can’t miss this museum! It features the Cockrell Butterfly Center and Burke Baker Planetarium. Additionally, the Museum of Natural Science hosts a variety of events throughout the year. During the fall, you can take in a performance of Houston Ballet, one of the best ballet companies in the United States. The season runs from September to May, and performances include classical ballets. There’s even a class for beginners!
If you have time, you should also visit the Houston Space Center, which is home to NASA’s official visitor center. It’s a huge complex with a variety of exhibits, including a life-sized shuttle and carrier. You can also touch a moon rock, and learn about the latest projects being undertaken by NASA. You’ll also want to check out Houston’s water-wall park. Located near the Galleria mall on Post Oak Boulevard, the 20-meter high water wall is one of the city’s most beautiful attractions. The Houston Museum of Fine Arts has more than 64,000 works of art and culture to offer. You can view a variety of styles here, from mixed-media works to mobiles. You can even check out the world-famous Beer Can House, a piece of aluminum wonder. Entry is only $5, and it’s worth every penny. You’ll be amazed by what you’ll see, and you can even learn something new while you’re there.
The Children’s Museum of Houston is a fantastic place to take a family. From tots to toddlers, you’ll find activities for all ages here. You’ll love the Tot*Spot exhibit, which is designed for babies and toddlers, and the EcoStation exhibit encourages nature-based engagement.
